Greuther Furth’s Baba Rahman Makes Black Stars Return Against Egypt

Germany-based defender Baba Abdul Rahman has been included in Ghana’s squad for the crucial 2014 World Cup playoff against Egypt.
The Greuther Furth player is in line to making his Black Stars debut against the record African Cup winners in the in the first leg of the playoffs for next year’s World Cup in Brazil on October 15 in Kumasi.
The 19-year-old was handed his debut senior Ghana call earlier on in the qualifiers on the back of an impressive display with the Black Satellites at the FIFA U20 World Cup in Turkey.
The ex Asante Kotoko laonee helped Ghana win bronze in the U20 tournament earlier this year.
Rahama will be competing to make his Black Stars debut in the left-back position against David Addy for the October 15 clash.
Ghana must beat Egypt over two legs to make a third consecutive appearance at the FIFA World Cup.
