Ghanaian youth winger Shadrach Eghan advertised yet another eye-catching display in FC Twente’s narrow 1-0 away win over Cambuur in the Dutch Eredivisie on Friday.
Though the 19-year-old has rejected steamroller tags by Dutch football connoisseurs but on Friday night he heralded yet another strong performance for The Tukkers at the CambuurStadion.
Twente manager Michel Jansen used the Akosombo-born as the kingpin on Friday and he played a vital part of the first-half before he was replaced before the start of the season half.
Dutch youngster Luc Castaignos scored the game’s only goal four minutes after the break to book a narrow win for the visitors.
With Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah committed to offering playing minutes to active Ghanaian internationals, the youngster who was rejected by the Ghana U20 side, just over a year ago, could earn a call-up into the Black Stars squad.
