Ghana will meet France on Wednesday in the FIFA U20 World Cup semi-final in Bursa in a repeat of their Group A opener.
The Black Satellites needed a late goal in the last kick of extra-time to eliminate Chile 4-3 at the Telekom Arena in Istanbul on Sunday night.
Striker Ebenezer Assifuah’s header penetrated two confused Chile defenders and the ball beat the goalkeeper for the match winner.
Ghana will be seeking revenge after losing 3-1 in their Group A opener played in Istanbul on 13 June.
France went on to finish second in the pool and thumped Uzbekistan 4-0 in their quarter-final clash on Saturday.
Les Bluets beat hosts Turkey 4-1 in their Round of 16 clash in Gaziantep.
