Ghana Goalkeeper Richard Kingson Seals One-year Move To Cypriot Club Doxa

Ghana goalkeeper Richard Kingson has signed a one-year deal for Cypriot club Doxa Katokopia – Accra-based Montie FM has reported.
The 34-year-old had agreed to join the club after fruitful negotiations since his arrival on Monday.
The former first choice goalkeeper of the Black Stars has been without a club since he was released by English club Blackpool in May 2011.
Kingson who also played for Turkish giants Galatasaray has had to deal with several issues both on and off the field in recent years.
Aside losing his position as Ghana first choice goalkeeper, Kingson has also had to deal with family issues with claims his wife is a witch.
He has however put all these issues behind him and has made a triumphant return to club football after over two years of virtual inactivity.
Kingson could even make a return to the Black Stars team if he manages to hold down a regular spot at his new club.
His return to the Ghana national team if he excels at Doxa will increase competition in the goalkeeping department ahead of the Black Stars anticipated participation at next year’s World Cup in Brazil.
He was the man in between the sticks for Ghana at both the 2006 and 2010 World Cups in Germany and South Africa respectively.
