Ghana DJ Awards 2014 Jury Announced
Accra, GH (Sunday October 6, 2013)–The upcoming Ghana DJ Awards will yet again step up the bar and momentum as it continues to grow its commitment to be the leading marketing platform for the best in Ghanaian music promotion and a platform to promote hardworking Disc Jockeys and songs from Ghana to greater audience nationally and beyond the borders of Ghana.
This year, to keep pushing this mandate to even greater heights towards the 2014 edition, Ghana DJ Awards is pleased to introduce an even more extended, widely experienced local and international panel of judges.
The esteemed panel of judges for the 2014 edition includes highly acclaimed entertainment TV personality and singer, Jon Germain, top Ghanaian DJ and Head of Music at Neat FM, Young Joe, veteran DJ and former host of Choice Highway 102, Kofi Dixon, Radio personality, Admistrator and renowned Columnist Ahumah Bosco Ocansey, Kofi Amoakohene, CEO of Scratch Studios, Hanson Asiamah, Andy Kirm and Mawuli, CEO of Radio 7.
Also joining this esteemed panel of leading experts will be iconic broadcaster, Yaw Asamoah of Atlantis 87.9fm and Julz Osoom, operator of ghanamixtapes.com, a movement advocating for Ghana music worldwide and Rab Bakari, an indispensible linchpin in the entertainment business who has decades of hands-on experience as an authentic New York Hip Hop creator and a music corporate person. Others are Malik Musah, Londona of Emak FM, Maxwell the Africanbaby and Masterblasta.
The Jury will be responsible for collating the entries submitted via the awards website and selected radio stations, as well as shortlisting the final list of nominees for each category and selecting Lifetime Achievement winner(s).
