Ghana Defender Paintsil ‘feeling At Home’ At Santos

Ghana defender John Paintsil is already feeling ‘at home’ during his stay with Santos FC.
The experienced right-back has began training with the South African club in his latest bid to secure a club.
Paintsil has been a free agent since he was released by Israeli club Hapoel Tel Aviv at the end of last season.
The 32-year-old had trials with English lower tier club Milwall but failed to secure a permanent deal.
The defender now hopes to impress Santos coaches and officials during his trial stint with Santos haven come through two training sessions.
“So far it’s been a very nice experience. Today was my second training session. I am very happy with the facilities, the boys, the coach and the management, which is fantastic, so I’m happy,” he said.
“Santos is a well-known club throughout Africa. They are an established team that has been around for a long time and I’m very happy to train with a team with such a rich history.
“The players, the coach and the club president have all made me feel at home.”
