Ghana Are Ready For Any Opponent In World Cup Play-off – Andre Ayew
Ghana ace Andre Ayew says the Black Stars are ready to meet any team in the Brazil 2014 World Cup play-offs.
The draw for the final qualifying round will be held in the Egyptian city of Luxor on Monday.
Ghana, one of the five seeded teams, are likely to face either Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Senegal, Egypt or Ethiopia.
The winner will be decided over two-legs and rewarded with a ticket to play at the finals next year.
‘We are ready to face any opponent. Whichever team comes we will play and grind out results that are favourable to our side when it comes to the qualification,’ the Marseille winger said.
Ayew made a return to the Ghana this month after taking a six-month temporary break from international football.
He played in the 2-1 win over Zambia last Friday which confirmed Ghana’s qualification for the play-offs.
