Frimpong Delighted To Make Ghana Return
Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong is delighted to be making a return to the Black Stars haven recovered from a lengthy injury layoff.
The 21-year-old spent three months on the sidelines after having surgery on his injured knee in the final match of last season.
Concerns over Frimpong’s fitness however remain rife as he is yet to play a single game this season for Arsenal.
But the defensive midfielder who is delighted to be back into the Black Stars team says he is fully fit and ready to give his all again for his nation.
“The last game of the season I got injured in my knee and I was out for three months,” he said.
“But I am fit now and the coach has called me to come and play for my nation.
“It is always an honour playing for your country and I am very pleased to be here.”
