The Loeries, Africa’s biggest showcase of the brand communications industry, will, for the first time, be hosting a series of events in key cities across the continent, including Accra, starting this month.
Other cities to host the Loeries are Harare, Dar Es Salaam, Lagos and Nairobi.
What is Loeries?
The Loeries encompasses all areas of brand communication, including television, film and video, radio, print, digital communication, communication design, architecture, interior design, direct marketing, Public Relations Communication, live events, sponsorship, branded content and integrated campaigns.
A statement issued by the organisation said the programme would include an international seminar of creativity, awards ceremonies and ticket sales for the Loeries Creative Week in Cape Town, South Africa.
It said everyone in the brand communications industry, comprisingmarketers, agencies, media buyers and media owners, was encouraged to attend and at the end of the programme, there would be a networking event where people would have the opportunity to meet and catch up with colleagues in the industry.
The statement pointed out that although entry to the programme was complimentary, those who wished to be part were encouraged to book for participation.
The major partners of the 2014 Loeries are DStv Media Sales, the City of Cape Town, Western Cape Government and Gearhouse South Africa.
