cadd772643581 515029 Ex Ghana U 20 Star Tutu Skelley Rules Out Black Stars ChancesEx-Ghana Under-20 has ruled out his chances of making it into the Black Stars ahead of the 2014 World Cup.

The 34-year-old is currently unattached since leaving USV Hollenegg .

The former King Faisal ace, who has expressed his desire to play for Kotoko, admits he has not done enough to merit a call-up into the Ghanaian national team.

“I don’t think I have done enough. Making it to the World Cup squad is beyond me at the moment,” he said

“I am not playing for any club at the moment and so there is no chance for me.

“However if I get a club, then I believe I can talk about my chances in the future.

“There is lot of footballing years ahead of me. I am still playing well and very active as well.”

Skelley was the fans-favourite at the 1999 CAF African Youth Championship which was won on home soil.

His halcyon era was a period marked by the glorious days of Italian trainer Giuseppe Dossena who built a fine Ghana side through youth development and an eye for success.

Tutu’s second-half appearances for the Ghana U20 side at the Ghana 99 Youth Championship earned him the tag a super-sub.

However, despite his precocious exploits at youth level, the former King Faisal star was unable to meet expectations at the senior level for Ghana as he faded out scene.

Some of Tutu’s Ghana team-mates at the time include Owusu Afriyie, Sammy Agyei, Laryea Kingston, Baffour Gyan, Aziz Ansah and Emmanuel Adjogu.
