Egypt: Sisi – Egypt Highly Appreciates Saudi Diplomatic Support, Stances of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques
General Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, the First Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense and Military Production met on Monday 2/9/2013 with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud al-Faisal.
The meeting tackled the successive developments at the local and regional levels and their implications to stability and security in the region.
During the meeting, General Sisi said Egypt highly appreciates the Saudi diplomatic support and the stances of the custodian of the two Holy Mosques and his keenness to support Egypt politically and economically to overcome the extraordinary circumstances facing it.
He said the strong links between the two countries will continue to be enhanced in the coming stage.
The Saudi Foreign Minister conveyed the compliments of the Saudi Monarch to General Sisi and his appreciation of the efforts he exerted to enable Egypt of resuming its pioneering role in the Arab region.
He said Egyptian Saudi relations are based on well established roots of fraternal relations and coordination for enhancing the joint Arab action.
The meeting was attended by Lt General Sedqi Sobhy, the Chief of staff of the Armed forces, high-ranking commanders of the armed forces and Saudi Ambassador in Cairo Ahmed Al Qattan.
