The development of every nation is based on the provision of quality education to its citizenry.

In Ghana, the proliferation of Private Universities makes it uneasy for students to choose the most credible and accredited institutions.

Sifting out the best for prospective students, Micjoy Advertising is expected to hold its 5th Educational Excellence Award in Kumasi at the Golden Tulip Hotel to Honour most distinguished Private Universities in Ghana on July 30, 2014.

Former President John Agyekum  Kufuor will be honoured for his immeasurable contribution to education in Ghana, a statement by the organizers said. Alex Kyeremeh, Deputy Minister of Education will also be honoured at the event.

Ghana Technology University College will also be awarded for their distinct role in the provision of tertiary education in the country in the category of Science and Technology.

Other universities to receive awards include All Nations University College, Presbyterian University College, Jackson College of Education, All Nations International Development Agency (ANIDA), and IDEAL College, and GTUC.
