Duncan To Join Ghana U20 Squad On Monday

Inter Milan midfielder Alfred Duncan will join the Ghana U20 camp in Italy on Monday.
The 20-year-old will leave Accra on Sunday night for Milan and move straight to join his team-mates in Novara.
Duncan, who played a crucial role in Livorno’s promotion to the Italian Serie A was allowed to fly down to Accra to visit his family.
The powerful central midfielder will be key for Ghana’s campaign with his experience in the Italian top flight and his consistency for Livorno.
He joins Chelsea’s Daniel Pappoe Mills, Anderlecht winger Frank Acheampong while Baba Abdul Rahman and Richmond Boakye-Yiadom will join also join later.
Duncan has one senior Ghana cap after playing in the friendly win over Cape Verde Islands in Portugal last November.
He played five times for Inter’s first team during the first half of the just ended season before making 23 appearances and scoring twice for Livorno.
He was also a member of the Inter U19 squad that conquered Europe by winning the Nextgen Series.
His experience would be vital for Ghana who are in the same group with European super powers Spain, France and the USA in Turkey.
