Dr. Josiah Aryeh To Drag Asiedu Nketia And NDC To Court

f96f387042684 470089 Dr. Josiah Aryeh To Drag Asiedu Nketia And NDC To CourtChairman of the National Democratic Party (NDP) has threatened to drag the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) and its General Secretary, Johnson Asiedu Nketia to court for alleging he is a “car thief”.

According to Dr. Josiah Ayeh, Asiedu Nketia’s statement was unwarranted, bizarre and unrealistic because he submitted himself to a process of inquiry and cleared ten (10) years ago.

“…I like to be civil but he (Asiedu Nketia) is not asking for civility at all…the statements that he made were at best bizarre. They are totally unrelated to reality. This is a party that had these claims against me and I submitted myself to a process of adjudication way back in 2004. This is 2014. We are talking about 10 years on and the NDC was never able to establish anything against me.

“Now, rather than being apologetic and full of remorse, you have their General Secretary, who is their main mouth piece going to make completely sick statement…if you were not able to prove anything after all the allegations, the best thing you do is to bow down your head in shame. Is the NDC doing that? This means they have really lost their moral fiber,” he argued on NEAT 100.9 FM.

The private legal practitioner further disclosed that “Asiedu Nketia is inviting me to sue both himself and the NDC for making statements that he can’t prove”.

Dr. Josiah Ayeh made these comments in reaction to an accusation by the Chief Scribe of the NDC that, he stole party vehicles and sold his conscience just to fill his stomach.

But Dr. Ayeh was of the view that if indeed there was some truth in the allegation, they would have been able to come out with, at least, a report after the inquiry or he would have been sued but for the NDC’s failure to do all that is an indication of his innocence.

“…I will sue and I will milk the NDC of some of the money that they have stolen, because if they are going to go round making careless, reckless and irresponsible statements against people and of cause try to tarnish and smear those people, they would have to take the responsibility,” he told Neat 100.9 FM.
