The convict lives with his parents at Railway Quarters in Tarkwa.

He said on the night of February 10whilst the complainant and his roommates were asleep in their room, the convict entered the room and began rummaging through their personal belongings.

Inspector Amponsah said the complainant suddenly woke up and saw the convict but remained quiet and watched him pick his mobile phone valued 200 Ghana cedis and slipped it into his pocket.

Collins afterwards picked the complainant’s bag and was about to sneak out of the room when he got up and raised alarm and the convict was arrested.
