Chibok Citizen – ‘After April 14th … We Sleep In The Bush’
Nigerian man from Chibok revealed to CNN that the local citizens are having a hard time as all are terrified of possible further attacks.
A man interviewed in the video tells that since the attacks on April 14th, since the girls were abducted, local people of Chibok are trying to stay safe and you will not be able to see anyone on the streets after 5 p.m. He explains saying that “there is no security”, and they decide to sleep in the bush even with little children just to remain safe.
On April 14th, 2014, over 200 girls were abducted at night from the premises of their school. They are still not found. Thousands of people all over the world show their support towards Nigeria and parents of the abducted girls by going on the streets and using tag #BringBackOurGirls in social media.
