France international Bacary Sagna has joined Manchester City on a free transfer from Arsenal this summer.
The right-back had been continually linked with a move to the Premier League champions, who have now agreed a three-year contract with the 31-year-old.
A statement on Arsenal’s official website read: ‘Everyone at Arsenal Football Club would like to thank Bacary for his fantastic contribution, and wish him all the best for the future.’
Sagna represented Arsenal 284 times, after joining the Gunners from Auxerre in 2007.
He will wear the number three shirt for City – just as he did for Arsenal.
