Tumelo Mukoka, who described himself as Maarohanye’s business associate and a friend, said, “It’s 1/8Mdlalose Drive 3/8 a 60km/h zone and he drove carefully.” Mukoka was testifying in Maarohanye’s defence in the murder trial of Maarohanye and co-accused Themba Tshabalala.

2012-02-22 19:06 Johannesburg – Four young Diepsloot men admitted on Wednesday to planning a robbery at a presbytery, but denied complicity in the murder of an elderly priest during the crime. This emerged in the North Gauteng High Court in Pretoria when the State handed in statements the four accused made to police while pointing out the scene in Diepsloot, where Father Louis Blondel was murdered in December 2009. Kgaugelo Manzini, Thembalethu Sindane, Freddy Mahlangu and Jabu Ndebele, all aged between 18 and 22, have pleaded not guilty to charges of murder and robbery.
