The Vice President Kwesi Bekoe Amissah Arthur,the Chief Supporter of the Blacks Stars in Natal has stated that Black Stars of Ghana represents the dream of Africa at the ongoing 2014 FIFA World Cup competition in Brazil, so he is very optimistic that team Ghana would be the first to excel and bring the greatest trophy in world sports to Ghana and Africa.

In a presidential message on 15th June 2014,ahead of the opening game between Ghana and the United States of America on Monday in Natal,the Vice President Kwesi Amissah Arthur, said Ghana is in need of new victories ,so it is time as a country we bring back the glory that our forefathers fought for us some years ago ,so that our children and the future generation would forever remember us for that feat.

The Vice President Kwesi Amissah Arthur ,said come what my he knows Black Stars of Ghana would remain victorious over the USA, adding that Ghana is is an icon of the political independence of Black Africa ,so its time for us to use the same breath that Dr Kwame Nkrumah did for us some years ago to bring victory home,He urged Ghanaians to stand up and support the Black Stars in order to make the nation proud because we know that they can do it.

He called on the players to see the World Cup tournament as a duty to themselves and the country because of the opportunity that they have on the world stage,adding that some may not have that opportunity to play again at the world cup, urging them to put behind 2010 in South Africa but rather use it as a guide and from from because they represent the unity of Ghana.

He also called on Ghanaians to stay up in the spirit of unity for the Black Stars and beyond so as to keep the flag of Ghana flying on the world stage for a united Ghana.
