Headline sponsors of the Black Stars GNPC have pledged a 50 percent increment in the bonuses paid to the team once they win the crucial 2014 World Cup qualifier against Egypt.
Ghana will be hosting the record African champions in the first leg of the epic tie on October 15 in Kumasi.
The Black Stars look to record a huge score line to provide a comfortable cushioning before the return encounter a month later tentatively in Cairo.
The state-owned oil exploration and production company who are the major sponsors of the Black Stars in their bid to provide an extra incentive to the team towards a massive win over the Pharoahs have promised a 50 percent increment of the regular bonuses paid by the state.
“They met with the team and promised to double whatever bonus the state is giving once they win the match by 50 percent,” Ghana FA Communications Director Ibrahim Sannie-Daara confirmed.
