Fidelity Bank Ghana Limited has presented prizes to three lucky winners of the grand draw of the Fidelity ‘Big Fat Zero’ promotion.

The bank organized the promotion to promote the savings culture among Ghanaians and to reward its customers for participating in the deposit mobilization campaign.

Lilian Esi Mortotsi received two ‘Big Fat Zeros’ and this increased her coupon balance of GH¢1,000 to a whopping GH¢100,000.00.

Godwin Quashie Acolatse and Brown Anafo, both won one ‘Big Fat Zero,’ which earned them GH¢10,000 each.

Presenting the prizes, Jim Baiden, Deputy Managing Director of Fidelity Bank, said the gesture was a demonstration of the bank’s commitment to rewarding its loyal customers and also ‘to continue to push the boundaries of transparency and fairness of this promotion and all other Fidelity promotions.

‘I trust that you would put the money to good use; let me also assure you that our team of experts are ever ready to assist you in managing this money through prudent treasury and investment services,’ he said.

‘We hope that by rewarding examples such as these, it will help to inspire the current and future generation to develop a savings culture,’ he added.

Mr. Baiden encouraged the public to open accounts with the bank, saying ‘we are a bank for the future and we want to make a difference in the lives of Ghanaians by encouraging them to save and operate bank accounts to improve their livelihood and we have partnered ‘Agent Points’ such as grocery shops, pharmacies and supermarkets for people to have direct access to financial services in a convenient manner in addition to the bank’s 51 branches and 76 ATMs.’

In all, a lucky customer won two ‘Big Fat Zeros’, 17 customers won one ‘Big Fat Zeros’ that transformed their balances by as much as GHC10,000 in most cases and 69 others won consolation prizes such as half-an-ounce, 24 carat Gold coins currently valued at GH¢1,500 for investment purposes.
