Benue State Judiciary to Sack Poor Performing Judges
Makurdi — The Benue State judiciary yesterday disclosed plans to sack lower court judges who are perform below expectation.
Chief Judge of the state, Justice Iorhemen Hwande, in his address at a one-day workshop for judges of lower courts and bailiffs, regretted that some judges have been wanting in the area of performance. He added that the management of the state judiciary in collaboration with the Judicial Service Commission has set up an evaluation committee to assess judges’ performance.
