Ghana midfielder Derek Boateng has left Fulham after just a season.
The 31-year-old signed for Spanish La Liga side Rayo Vallecano on Tuesday.
Boateng had a difficult stint at Craven Cottage, managing to make only three league appearances out of a possible 38 in a well-documented struggle for playing time.
The move sees Boateng return to Spain, where he enjoyed arguably one of his finest career patches yet at Getafe from 2009 to 2011.
The dread-locked anchorman has previously had stints in Ukraine, Israel, Sweden, Germany and Greece.
