Asamoah Gyan Says Ghana Will Give Everything

0387128943679 321954 Asamoah Gyan Says Ghana Will Give EverythingAsamoah Gyan insists Ghana will be battling to win to bring fresh hope for a second round place at the World Cup when they face Portugal on Thursday.

Ghana’s thrilling 2-2 draw with Germany in Group G on Saturday left the Black Stars with one point – just like Portugal – heading into their final game and with a possible chance of reaching the second round.

Gyan, whose goal against the Germans made him the first African player to score at three World Cups and tied Roger Milla of Cameroon as the top-scoring African in World Cup history – five goals – says the Black Stars will give everything and see where it takes them at the World Cup.

“We should go all out because a draw is not going to be enough for us,” said the Ghana captain.

“We just have to stay focused.”

Ghana needs a massive win against Portugal in Brasilia in the final group match and hope the other fixture between Germany and the United States does not end in a draw.
