Andre Ayew Ready To Die For Ghana On Black Stars Return
Olympique Marseille star Andre Ayew says he is ready to ‘DIE’ for his nation on his return to the Black Stars.
The 23-year-old wrote to the Ghana FA on Friday to confirm his decision to come out of his temporal international retirement.
Ayew had earlier written to take a sabbatical from the Black Stars over claims he has issues with some members of the team’s management committee.
The Marseille forward however confirmed his availability for the Black Stars again by writing to the Ghana FA on Friday.
This makes the son of Ghana legend Abedi Pele eligible for selection in next month’s crucial 2014 World Cup qualifier against Zambia.
The 2009 U20 World Cup winning captain with the Black Satellites now say he is ready to give off his best as always for the Black Stars on his return.
‘I am back for my country!!! I thank every Ghanaian for supporting me during this few months.Am ready to die for Ghana as always.!,’ he tweeted.
Ayew is now expected to be named in Ghana’s squad to be announced next week for the crunch game against Zambia on September 6 in Kumasi.
