A staff of Amanano Rural Bank receiving the top award
Amanano Rural Bank has won the International Star for Leadership in Quality Award in France.
The bank’s outstanding business achievements and quality in accordance with QC 100 criteria helped it to win the prestigious award.
Noble Christian Osei-Bonsu, Manager, Amanano Rural Bank, commenting on the award, said it would spur the bank to new heights.
The award was presented to the bank at the 2014 International Quality Awards organized by a Spanish-registered company, Business Initiative Directions (BID) in Paris, France.
The bank was presented with a plaque at the Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile Palais des Congres Convention Hall, an event which was presided over by the president and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of BID, Jose E. Prieto.
A citation accompanying the award noted that the financial institution was being recognized for its excellence.
It said the bank’s value and efforts at ensuring customer satisfaction and obtaining positive business results had also been recognized.
Mr. Osei-Bonsu assured shareholders and customers of the bank that management would do everything possible to promote their interest.
The bank has been a member of Ghana’s Club 100 since 2005.
Two other institutions from Ghana, which were honoured at the ceremony, were the Free Zones Board and the University of Education, Winneba.
