Accra Brewery supports 4Syte Awards
Accra Brewery Limited (ABL), producers of Club Premium beer, is the official beverage sponsors of this year’s 4Syte Music Video Awards which comes off on November 16 at the Accra International Conference Centre.
The annual awards in its fifth year is organised by the Accra-based 4syte Studios to motivate musicians and video directors to develop more creative videos and improve on quality to meet international standards.
At the launch of the event in Accra earlier this month, Mr. James Boakye Sarfo, Marketing Manager of ABL said his outfit was proud to be associated with the awards.
‘Club beer is a truly Ghanaian beer which has been enjoyed by Ghanaians since 1931. It is therefore a worthwhile move for ABL to refresh and sponsor a truly Ghanaian initiative appreciated by all’.
The CEO of 4Syte Studios, Mr. Ignace Hego expressed his appreciation to ABL for coming on board and lauded them for their contributions to the growth of the creative and arts business in this country.
He also touched on some changes to the awards scheme. ‘The Overall Best Video award will be replaced this year with the Most Influential Artiste award’, he said.
Artistes contesting in the Most Influential Artiste category are Sarkodie, Edem, 4X4, E.L, R2Bess, Okyeame Kwame and VIP.
Since its inception four years ago, the 4Syte Music Video Awards has been embraced by stakeholders as a useful forum to help produce videos that can compete well on the global scene.
Notable people in the music, film and video business, including Reggie Rockstone, Ivan Quashigah, Abraham Ohene Djan, Ramesh Jai, Kwaw Ansah and Allen Gyimah, have been awarded the Living Legend and Lifetime Achievement Awards for their enormous contributions.
