7 Ways to Stop Excessive Sweating

Sweating is another form of excretion from the body. Excess of salts, waste and toxins are eliminated from the body in the form of sweat. One also tends to sweat when one is nervous or very anxious, while sweating is normal in men and womenm, the sweat stain and smell can be a deterrent for many, so we list out ways one can get rid of excessive sweating naturally.

Potato
This is another home remedy to fight excessive sweating, just slice potatoes and rub it on your underarms. Repeat the exercise on alternate days.

Herbal Tea
Herbal tea will not only help in getting rid of excessive sweating but also kill the smell. Drinking Sage tea three times a day will be beneficial in getting rid of excessive sweating as the Vitamin B and magnesium present in it lowers the activity of the sweat glands.

Vinegar
Mix two tablespoon of vinegar in two tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and drink the mixture three times a day before every meal. Another way to use vinegar would be to apply it on your underarms to get rid of the smell.

Tea Bags
The tannin ingredient present in tea has anti-perspirant properties. Just boil 2-3 tea bags and apply this water on your sweat areas. You can also dip your palms in this water if you suffer from sweaty palms.

Baking Soda
Baking soda helps in cleansing the body and reduces sweating. In a bowl make a mixture of baking soda and lemon juice and apply the mixture on your sweat areas. Repeat the exercise to get rid of excessive sweating.

Tomato Juice
Apart from all the benefits tomato juice has to offer, it also helps in tightening the skin pores. You can either drink tomato juice every day, or apply tomato juice on your underarms to shut the pores from secreting sweat.

Have a bath daily
The best way to battle excessive sweating is to have a bath daily using an antibacterial soap. This will also help you in getting rid of bad odour.

Avoid foods like garlic or onion which have strong odours. Also replace hot drinks with cold juices and water.
