AFCON winning coach considers quitting after being owed seven months’ salary

Coach of African champions Cameroon, Hugo Broos is demanding about 315,000 euros owed by the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT).

According to Juene Afrique, FECAFOOT owe the Belgian seven months in salary arrears as his salary is rumoured to be about 45,000 a month which is a record high among current coaches working in Africa.

Broos, led Cameroon to their fifth Africa Cup of Nations tittle in Gabon following their 2-1 victory over Egypt in the finals.

Reports indicate that his name is among the favorites to take either the Ghana or South Africa national team job.

He addressed a press conference in Belguim and the quotes have been captured below.
