Ghana striker Richmond Boakye-Yiadom is eyeing a return to the Black Stars after making a move to Serbian side Red Star Belgrade.
The former Elche striker has been in top form for the Serbian giants banging 5 goals in 5 outings since joining in January.
Boakye Yiadom was part of the Black Satellites team that won bronze at the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Turkey in 2013 but last featured for Ghana in a friendly under Avram Grant.
Two years since then and his career has been a bit inconsistent but the move to Serbia has seen a transformation in his fortunes and he is hoping such good form could land him another Black Stars call.
“Am a Ghanaian and it is always a pleasure to be in the national team, I think am always to come back” Yiadom told Joy Sports.
“Because it is a dream of every player to come and help his nation when he is called.
“Am praying to God, so if am called again, I will be happy to come back,” he added.
Yiadom was recently survived a scary head injury.
