Video: Ghana draws a blank at 5th Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards

The winners of the fifth edition of the prestigious Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCAs) were announced at a glam ceremony on Saturday at EKO Hotel & Suites in Lagos, Nigeria.

Unfortunately, Ghana left the event not winning in any of the categories it received nominations in.

The movie ‘Ghana Must Go’, produced by actress Yvonne Okoro, received nominations in the Best Director category for Frank Rajah.

It aslo got nominated for the Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Movie/TV Series for Kofi Adjorlolo.

Tony Prince Tomety also received a nomination for Best Art Director while Nigerian actors, Blossom Chukwujekwu and Nkem Owoh were nominated in the Best Actor in Lead Role and Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Movie/TV Series for the same movie.
