Head coach of Elmina Sharks, Kobina Amissah says his outfit are determined to bounce back from their opening day defeat to Aduana Stars at home when they face Accra Great Olympics at the Accra Sports Stadium on Wednesday.

The Ghana Premier League debutantes were humbled 1-0 by former league champions Aduana Stars in their league opener at the Papa Kwesi Ndoum Stadium courtesy a Godfred Saka controversial strike on Sunday.

But coach of the side, Kobina Amissah has indicated that they have put the Sunday’s defeat behind them as they look to claim maximum points against premier league returnees Great Olympics in their midweek clash.

“We’re determined to fight back from the home loss to Aduana by beating Olympics tomorrow,” says Amissah on Happy FM.

“We have an experienced squad, who have tasted premier league football before and they know what’s at stake in this division.”

“I watched some of the games on television, and I thought to myself that we have a great chance of staying in the league for unforeseeable future if we can eschew some of the mistakes we did on Sunday.”
