Kotoko’s Ofori Antwi terminates contract

Kotoko goalkeeper Eric Ofori Antwi has mutually terminated his contract with the Porcupine Warriors after failing to maintain his number one spot.

Antwi joined the Porcupine Warriors two seasons ago from Amidaus Professionals with the prospect to shine, but has struggled to be in the post for sometime.

The former Under-20 goalie became the number three for Kotoko as coach Michael Osei preferred Ernest Sowah and Felix Annan which disappoints him.

“I am really disappointed because as a footballer and a player you need to be regular. I kept for Kotoko in only two league matches and one FA Cup and it is not the best.

“In football it happens as it happened to English boy Joe Hart and I can be somewhere tomorrow. With this I have sent them (Kotoko) my termination letter”, he told Starr Sports.

Meanwhile, Accra Hearts of Oak are reported to be keeping tabs on the goalkeeper.
