Popular actor Agya Koo has endorsed opposition leader Nana Akufo-Addo to occupy the presidency come January 7, 2017.
He has therefore launched a campaign dubbed – “Agenda 57 Per Cent Votes for Nana Addo” – to garner support for the flag bearer of the New Patriotic Party.
Speaking at a press conference in Kumasi, Wednesday, Kofi Adu – his real name – said: “I have personally sat back and monitored critically how things are going and felt the need to join the crusade for change in the political administration of this country… As a movie star, I have travelled far and wide across the country and have seen the conditions many Ghanaians are going through on a daily basis trying to acquire one square meal a day.”
Cartoonist Makaveli picks up the issue today.
