Vote on issues and track records, electorates urged

Traditional Area, has advised the electorates to cast their votes base on
issues and track records of the political parties in the 2016 general
elections.

He said there is the
need for the electorates to scrutinize the policies of all the political
parties in order to be informed to make the right choices.

Nana Brempong
advised the youth not to allow themselves to be used as instrument of violence
during the electoral campaigns.

Nana Brempong III,
was speaking at the celebration of the Ode Festival of the people of Adjena,
which forms part of the Akwesidae and use to mark the arrival of the new yam.

He urged all the
major stakeholders such as the Electoral Commission, the security agencies and
the media to be fair in playing their respective roles to ensure a credible and
an incident free election.

He also appealed to
the political parties to use decorum in their quest for power help unite the
country.

Nana Brempong III
called for the need to encourage and support competent and dedicated women
contesting for various positions in the December parliamentary and presidential
election to ensure that more women assume political positions in the country.

He appealed to
government to expedite work on the ongoing road construction from Akosombo to
Gyekiti to help ease the stress on inhabitants and promote economic activities
in the area.

He called for unity
among all the inhabitants and urged all citizens of Adjena both home and abroad
to come and assist in the development of the area.
