The General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party John Boadu has picked nomination form to contest the presidency in the December 7 elections on behalf of the flagbearer of the party Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo.
The form was picked up at the head office of the Electoral Commission in Accra on Wednesday.
The Deputy General Secretary of the ruling National Democratic Congress Mr. Koku Anyidoho earlier Wednesday picked up nomination forms on behalf of President John Dramani Mahama.
Presidential nominees are expected to pay GHc50,000 as filing fee while parliamentary aspirants will pay GHc10,000.
Four political parties have so far picked presidential nomination forms in a bid to unseat incumbent President Mahama in the December 7 general elections.
Kofi Akpaloo of the Independent People’s party (IPP), Madam Akua Donkor of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), Akwasi Addai Odike of the United Progressive Party (UPP) and Nana Agyenim- Boateng of the United Front Party (UFP) all picked their forms on Tuesday.
