Accra, Sept. 11, GNA – Stand-in captain for
Accra Hearts of Oak, Inusah Musah has said he is ready to lead the team as the
substantive captain, if
  “given the
chance”, after leading the team to a lone goal victory over Ebusua Dwarfs
in the 28th week match of the Ghana Premier League (GPL) at the Accra Sports
Stadium last Sunday.

The lanky pillar at the back for Hearts
deputised as captain in the absence of Robin Gnagne in their week 28 encounter
with Ebusua Dwarfs at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Inusah, who enjoyed a stellar performance as
captain for the Phobians, showing glimpses of his leadership qualities was
named as the man-of-the-match.

Leading by example Inuash spectacularly
cleared a Bright Lukeman goal bound effort from a yawning net to keep his
charges in the game amidst several important interceptions.

The stalewart defender says he was motivated
by the armband even though he was under some form of pressure.

“I feel good to captain a big club like
Hearts of Oak. It comes with a lot of pressure but I can manage,” an
excited Insah said.

He further revealed that he has the
requisite temperament to lead the formal African champions if given the
opportunity.
