Commey’s fans to keep vigil tonight in Bukom

Hundreds of Bukom residents have promised to stay awake to rally their support for Ghana’s Richard Oblitey Commey as he fights American Robert Easter Jnr in Pennsylvania, USA tonight.

The IBF lightweight title will be for grasp as the two undefeated pugilists lock horns at the Santander Arena.

The bout is expected to be a tough one as both are undefeated yet in their respective careers.

“We are hungry for a World title and this is the opportunity to rewrite the scripts for Bukom as Ghana’s boxing hub. We are going to block the main streets just opposite the gym and show the fights till day break,” a fan told Starr Sports.

Commey has fought 24 times with an impressive 22 knock-out, whereas Easter has knocked-out 14 boxers out of 17 bouts.
