Defender Baba Rahman and midfielder Mubarak Wakaso will fly in later today after buying their own tickets to play for Ghana against Rwanda.
Rahman who joined Schalke 04 on loan from Chelsea this summer played the last 20 minutes in his side’s defeat to Eintracht Franfurt while Mubarak Wakaso moved to Greece to play with Panathinaikos this season.
Rahman has a big game against Bayern when the international break is over and wants to arrive in the country to get the game done and return to his base in Germany, while Wakaso’s domestic season begins after the international break.
Both players are expected in the country later this evening to play in the game against the Amauvibi’s this Saturday.
Ghana has qualified for the Africa Cup of Nations to be staged in Gabon already but will be desperate to maintain their impressive qualifying form after picking up 13 points from their first five games of the qualification series.
