Paramount Chief of Tamale, Gukpegu Naa (Naa Alhaji Abdulai), has described award winning Reggae dancehall art Stonebwoy as a powerful force that fights to defend his turf in the music industry.

Stonebwoy who was enskinned as the “Dancehall Warrior” of Ghana, which literally means in ‘Dagbani’ “Sapahini” paid a courtesy call to the Chief of Tamale ahead of his show slated today at the Tamale sports stadium.

The brief ceremony, saw sundries of fans gathered at the Chief palace to witness the ‘Go Higher’ hit maker enskinned as “Dancehall Warrior” of Ghana.

Sources reveal that, the Paramount Chief hardly enskins people and when he does, it means he highly reveres the personality who visits him.

According to Gukpegu Naa, “Stonebwoy has been a powerful force that fights to defend his turf in the music industry.”

“…He uses his music as a tool to defend the weak and oppressed; he is a warrior. He is the Sapashini of Dancehall — Dancehall Sapashini.”

Stonebwoy landed in the early hours of Friday, August 26th (a day ahead of his mega concert due at the Tamale Sports Stadium) and had a historic welcome with over 5,000 fans who thronged the airport and the streets to welcome him to town.

StoneGod and his Burniton Music Group Team are set to thrill fans tonight at the Tamale sports Stadia
