Chief Executive Officer of Berlin FC, Takyi Arhin, has described the public dispute between the Ghana Football Association and Sports Minister Nii Lantey Vanderpuye as similar to the behavior of market women.
According to the vociferous football administrator, both parties are “making much noise over nothing” and they could have handled their perceived differences in a better manner.
Speaking to a Kumasi based station, Mr. Arhin, popularly known in football as Thunder, condemned both the FA and the minister for the stance they have taken.
“For me, what they (The GFA and the minister) are doing is like women in the market. One woman slightly wrongs another and they go haywire” Takyi said.
“The FA and the Minister are all behaving like women. The unseemly tension between them is ‘much ado about nothing’ and as men as they are, they should have handled the issue better”, Takyi Arhin added.
Both parties have recently attacked each other in the media over how football issues should be handled.
