Ghana’s leading entertainment magazine Event Guide, has unveiled multiple award winning Fashion Designer Ophelia Crossland, as their magazine cover at Reggie Rockstone’s Django Bar.
The colourful unveiling gathered all showbiz fraternities to celebrate Kofi Okyere Darko’s (KOD) wife.
The night saw Joselyn Dumas, KOD, Coded (4×4), Stephen Appiah, Claudia Lumar, and sundries of industry players.
The Crossland family and friends took invited guests gathered on how celebrities fashion designer [Ophelia] made it in the fashion industry.
Elder sister of Ophelia, Velma Crossland, said “Ophelia is the last born in our family and she is very talented”.
According to her, after studying Visual Arts in St. Mary Secondary School, she went to New York for a year and worked with a Textiles industry, Ophelia came back to Ghana and decided to attend fashion school at Joyce Ababio, fashion school and won an award in her year group, Velma said.
She added that, my sister is very creative, she has been in the fashion hub for 15 years and for me Ophelia Crossland designs is here to stay.
When Vannessa Gyan, asked actress and Tv host Joselyn Dumas, to describe the mother of two [Ophelia] in sentences she said, Ophelia is a strong, amazing, hardworking, talented and a bit annoying young lady with big dreams.
Ophelia’s husband Kofi Okyere Darko, widely known with his initials K.O.D also shared how she met his lovely wife.
According to him, “my wife is irreplaceable and irresistible, I meet my wife when I was about travelling out of Ghana and Sammy B and myself went shopping at Serwa Fabrics to get some materials and Velma who happens to be my in law introduced me to her sister Ophelia and since then we are happily married”.
For his part, Ophelia Crossland, thanked all who supported her good works when she embarked on her journey as a creative fashion designer.
