The appointment of Portuguese trainer, Sergio Traguil, as Hearts of Oak coach was a ‘mistake’ according to a section of the club’s supporters.
Traguil has had a torrid time since he was named as replacement to fans favourite, Kenichi Yatsuashi with a poor run of form. Their recent 3-0 humiliation at the hands of West African Football Academy (WAFA) and the home draw against league debutant, Techiman City, irked the club’s fans.
Some fans believe the coach is clueless, judging from some of his substitutions as well as team selection for games and, thus believe the time is right for the board to relieve the coach of his duties immediately.
Speaking after the side’s lethargic 1-1 home draw, some of the fans said, “the coach’s [Sergio Traguil] appointment was a mistake and it has cost us [as a club] a lot and as you can see, the trophy is gradually slipping away from our hands. He has to go and leave our club alone.”
The Portuguese trainer will look to get his side back to winning ways as they travel to Wa to face league leaders, All Stars, in their match week 25 clash.
