There’s always something new happening in our entertainment industry. If it’s not about personalities beefing each other, then it’s some misunderstanding.
Shatta Wale performed in Kumasi recently at the Shatta Wale For Peace Concert in Kumasi. However, some happenings on the day has made Kumawood actor and musician, Kwadwo Nkansah, known popularly as Liwin quite angry according to PulseGhana.
According to the website, Kwadwo Nkansah in an interview with Sammy Flexx on Pluzz FM, indicated that even though he was billed to perform on the night, Shatta Wale’s manager prevented him from mounting the stage.
Liwin explained that when he and his team got to the venue, they were denied access to the stage. He said after a lot of back and forth, he forced himself unto the stage when it became obvious that they were not going to allow him to perform.
However, this action did not deter the management of the Dancehall King as the DJ on the night refused to play Liwin’s songs when he got on stage, leaving him with no option than to freestyle. They eventually cut off his Microphone.
“I eventually had to perform without my songs because the DJ refused to play them. Then they put off my microphone so I had to start dashing out my clothes to the fans who were dying to see me on stage,” Liwin stated.
