Ghanaian-born Norwegian striker Alexander Tetteh grabbed the match-winner for Norwich in their 1-0 win over 10-man Southampton at home on Saturday.

Tettey’s finish flew past Maarten Stekelenburg and into the top corner after 74 minutes to break the deadlock.

The 29-year-old, who is a Manchester United target has been in fine form for Norwich this season.

The game appears to be heading for a stalemate until substitute Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe set up the Ghanaian-born striker within three minutes of the dismissal of Victor Wanyame for the winner.

Wanyame was sent off for a second bookable offence and the away side were unable to to hold on.

The win ensures the Canaries have steered clear of relegation as the Premier League hottens up.
