Opponents of Kumasi Asante Kotoko for the 80th Anniversay Game slated for the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday, FK Jagodina are yet to arrive at the Kotoko international airport despite 9:15pm arrival time.

The Serbians were set to arrive last night but a change in the flight arrangements shifted the arrival to Saturday morning with Turkish Airline flight number 629.

It was latter announced by Turkish Airlines that due to the change in weather in Turkey, the flight will be arriving in Ghana at 8:30pm on Saturday.

Airport authorities at the Kotoka International Airport announced a few minutes after 7:00pm that the arrival time has been adjusted to 9:15pm instead on the previous 8:30pm.

As of the time of filing this report, the Serbians are yet to arrive at the airport with no sign of their arrival.

Even though there is no sign of the arrival of the Serbian side for the anniversary game expected to come off at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on Sunday, the CEO of Pacific Football Ghana Limited, Eric Oppong insists that the game will be played tomorrow.

“The team will surely arrive no matter what. And the game will be played tomorrow,” he said in a telephone interview with Ghanasoccernet.com.
