First Friday is here with us again signalling the return of Accra’s trendiest monthly old school jam to + 233 Jazz Bar and Grill. Soul to Soul should be the name on your lips till Friday, September 5th 2014, when the captivating Shabo Crew take to the stage with old school Soul, Jazz & Funk tracks, “aatswa band” style.
The band has been phenomenal in past performances at Soul to Soul, also backing top artistes on the same stage and it is no wonder they were the band of choice to support the Black Stars on the recently ended Brazil 2014 world cup tournament.
The unique style of Soul to Soul delivers interspersed live band with Dj sessions and this has now become a platform for heated debate as each has their day in taking the audience to new heights.
The resident Dj, Paa Kwesi is ably assisted by special guest Djs, giving varied content on each event and we should be in for a treat to kick off this September weekend.
Soul to Soul incorporates a dose of live Jazz music in the playlist to kick off the evening and moves gradually through the decades and genres much to the delight of patrons, resulting in a truly unique night of eclectic music.
