Global Solutions re-strategises; appoints new Regional Country Director


Global Solutions Limited (GSL), the foremost ICT and infrastructure services and solutions provider has appointed Mr. Olufemi Muraino as its new Regional Country Director.

Mr. Muraino will provide overall leadership and strategic direction to achieve the company’s vision which is to ‘to be the number one company with specialization in IT Solutions that satisfy the unique needs of Financial, Industrial, Telecommunication, Oil/Gas and Utilities sectors of the economy.

He will also ensure GSL maintains existing partnerships with our world acclaimed Software and Hardware Partners as well as foster close communication with our cherished clients and prospects.

In an interview, Mr. Olufemi revealed that his position as the Regional Country Director will stimulate stable leadership delivery of end-to-end solutions spanning software, hardware, consultancy and managed services in the ICT industry to enable our customers become the most efficient/profitable in their markets.

He also announced the company’s license and authorization to sell and install Nautilus Hyosung range of ATMs in the country. The Nautilus Hyosung ATMs are the most dominant retail ATM in the United States and is currently the fasted selling ATMs in Nigeria, deployed by Inlaks Computers, also a member of the multinational Inlaks Group.

He seized the opportunity to congratulate the National Investment Bank (NIB) on the successful migration from their bespoke legacy software onto the world acclaimed core banking application platform Temenos T24 TM .   

The Temenos T24 TM emerged the preferred application after a rigorous evaluation of three core Banking Applications by NIB in 2013. This end-to-end (Consultancy, Audit, Implementation, Training and support) project was deployed by highly skilled and experienced resources from Global Solutions Limited. This team made up of 90% Ghanaians was highly commended by Mr. Muraino. He said that there is, therefore, an indication that the local team is developed to deliver and support the Temenos    application with little or no need for expatriate skills. “The deployment of the Temenos T24 TM    will empower the bank to run an end-to-end banking solution on a single platform and promote efficiency in their banking operations” he added.
