Human Head Dumped At Bolga

Crowd at the scene where the head was found
RESIDENTS OF Tindonmolgo in the Bolgatanga  Municipality of the Upper East Region, were thrown into a state of shock on Friday at about 11:00 am, when they discovered a severed human head in an uncompleted building.

The strange discovery has caused many residents of Tindonmolgo to live in fear as they wonder how someone could be killed and yet no one either notice or hear of it.

It is not clear whether the head was that of a resident or was brought from somewhere else and dumped in the uncompleted building.

The lifeless head, which was in an advance stage of decomposition, was wrapped in a sack.

An eyewitness and member of the community who spoke to the DAILY GUIDE, said some children were playing around the uncompleted building in the morning and saw the sack with the human head hanging on the ceiling.

Curious as they were, he narrated, the children drew nearer the sack and when they opened it and saw the head, they screamed and ran away, thereby drawing the attention of some adults who went to the place.

The police did not want to pass any comment on the occurrence, neither would they tell journalists how soon they were going to start their investigation. DAILY GUIDE’s unofficial information indicated that they (police) were quietly looking for clues that could lead to the source of the crime, as they were seen walking round a nearby cemetery.

As at press time yesterday the sex of the head had not been established, neither could it be linked to any family in the Tindonmolgo community.
