Owusu Bempah declares Castro dead

Reverend Isaac Owusu-Bempah, Founder of the Glorious Word Power Ministries International says hiplife artiste, Theophilus Tagoe popularly known as Castro, who has been missing for some time now, is dead.

He confirmed during an interview with Hitz FM, saying, it is difficult to believe that Castro is still among the living.

Rescue operations started on Sunday, July 6, 2014 for Castro, and his female companion, Janet Bandu, who went missing while jet skiing in the waters of Ada.

Castro and Asamoah Gyan were at the Peace Holiday Resort, a beach resort in Ada, together with some friends, for recreation when the unfortunate incident occurred.

The Marine Division of the Ghana Police Service, after several days of searching said hopes of finding Castro and Janet alive, seemed to have been lost.

According to Rev Owusu-Bempah: “If someone says that Castro still lives it’s going to be hard to believe.”

He explained that he knows a little about the spiritual world and that when someone drowns there are customs or traditions made to enable the person’s body wash ashore after three or four days but since that has not happened, he is dead.

The Man of God added that those spiritualists who are making claims that the artiste may be alive are a bunch of liars who just want to use dubious means to extort monies from Asamoah Gyan.

“We only have to pray that we find his body and bury him,” he added.
